About the Program
Hundreds of children each year are harmed or killed by unsecured guns at home, particularly devastating in minority communities where these increases have been found. Unsecured guns at home have been used in mass shootings and have contributed to the increase in adolescent suicide. This program was founded in August 2022 by Brenda Goss Andrews, NOBLE National President (2022-2023) in partnership with Everytown to bring awareness to the issue through events that distribute free gun locks to the community.
