Noble president, Lynda R. Williams

 In being attentive to our deep 45-year history, I believe strongly that by focusing on the BASICS, NOBLE honors its founders’ objectives. Among these objectives: address high crime rates in Black urban communities; address fairness and equity — or lack thereof — in the administration of justice;

offer training to support police community relationships; hire and promote Black police officers within law enforcement; and call out the singular problems faced by Black police executives and police officers, inclusive of discrimination leading to lack of opportunity and safety.

Given these significant challenges, my leadership platform will attend to the following six BASICS that characterize our organizational mission.
