NOBLE Listening Sessions: We Are Still Here

In a time when change is constant and uncertainty weighs heavily on our communities — when civil rights and liberties feel increasingly vulnerable — NOBLE is showing up to listen, to
learn, and to stand beside you.

About the Program

The purpose of these Listening Sessions is clear: to build trust and strengthen relationships between law enforcement and the community, to gather input and concerns directly from residents, businesses, and community partners, and to use that feedback to inform our policies, advocacy, and training. Most importantly, these sessions allow us to humanize the profession by showing that NOBLE leaders are neighbors, partners, and allies.

The input gathered will guide policy recommendations, shape training that reflects community needs, and inspire advocacy that creates lasting impact. Together, we will ensure that every voice is heard and that NOBLE remains a trusted partner in creating safer, stronger, and more just communities.

NOBLE leaders are holding Listening Sessions in partnership with local communities to:

• Understand the real challenges facing our neighborhoods
• Build trust and stronger relationships with community members
• Connect local voices to NOBLE’s national mission for justice and reform

These sessions are more than just conversations — they are a commitment to hearing you, seeing you, and walking alongside you.

These are safe, inclusive spaces where residents, local businesses, advocates, and community partners are encouraged to:

• Share experiences, concerns, and ideas
• Speak freely and be heard
• Help inform future policy, training, and advocacy initiatives

Your input will be taken directly to NOBLE leadership, where it will help shape how we serve, protect, and fight for meaningful, lasting change.

Free and open to all community members, NOBLE members, and law enforcement professionals.

In 1976, during a time of great social change and uncertainty, the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE) was founded with a powerful purpose — to bring a consciousness of justice and equality to law enforcement through action, accountability, and advocacy.

Nearly five decades later, the challenges facing our communities may look different, but the need for understanding, trust, and reform remains just as vital. The We Are Still Here Campaign reminds our communities that NOBLE’s mission has not wavered.

We are still here — standing with you, hearing you, supporting you, walking with you, and working for you.

Through initiatives like the NOBLE Listening Sessions, we reaffirm our commitment to serve as a bridge between law enforcement and the communities we protect. We are here to ensure that justice, fairness, and respect remain at the heart of policing — and that the voices of the people continue to shape the path forward.

Our mission endures: to advance the consciousness of law enforcement and justice through action — today, tomorrow, and always.
