Job Title: Senior Administrative Specialist (Full time in person position)

Salary Range: $49,064.00-$50,900.00
The Senior Administrative Specialist will play a critical role in supporting key operational functions, including finance, membership services, conference registration, and exhibits. This position requires a highly organized and proactive individual capable of managing multiple priorities with strong attention to detail. Responsibilities include performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks, providing direct support to the Executive Director and Deputy Director as needed and contributing to the development and execution of projects and programs that recognize and support members' academic and professional achievements. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional administrative skills, a commitment to excellence in education, and the ability to effectively manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
About Us:
Our organization serves as the conscience of law enforcement being committed to justice by action. We have 60 chapters and represent over 4,800 members worldwide which includes chief executive officers and command-level law enforcement officials from federal, state, county, municipal law enforcement agencies, and criminal justice practitioners.
Key Responsibilities:
Chapter and Membership Support During Open Enrollment (30% - November through March):
Year-Round Chapter and Member Services Support (10%):
Fiscal Office Support (10%):
Key Responsibilities (50%)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Communications, Education, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably within a nonprofit,
educational, or membership-based organization.
- Strong organizational and data management skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working with diverse groups
including law enforcement, government offices, and the public at large.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and database management systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in managing confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time in person position, located at the NOBLE Headquarters in Alexandria, VA, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional weekend work and extended hours during conference preparation and execution.
Travel
Occasional travel is expected for this position- approximately 10 percent.
