Missouri State University accepting applications for a DIRECTOR, UNIVERSITY SAFETY.

Responsibilities: The Director, University Safety plans, organizes, and leads all aspects of the University’s safety, security, and transportation systems by overseeing the Campus Safety, Dispatch, Transportation Services, and Emergency Preparedness units, and coordinating with the Springfield Police Department through its contract with Missouri State University. The Director, University Safety assesses the effectiveness of public safety efforts, programs, policies, and procedures and exercises oversight of various departmental budgets.

For required qualifications and application procedures: Pay Grade: 48. Salary range: $86,500-$115,000, annually. Successful candidates must be committed to working with diverse student and community populations.
