Reporting to and serving at the pleasure of the Vice Provost for Operations and Chief Human Resource Officer, the Director of Public Safety and Chief of Police is responsible for providing leadership and direction for all operations of the Office of Public Safety. The incumbent will formulate a strategic vision and mission for the department, develop policies and make policy and procedural decisions related to the operation and delivery of the department, police services and the security of the University. The incumbent will implement procedures for enforcement of agency regulations, state and federal laws and local ordinances.
