The Washington DC Metro chapter will be hosting the 2018 Region 2 Conference in Alexandria, VA on October 14, 2017. The meeting will be at the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) located at 699 Prince Street in Alexandria, VA 22314. Tentatively, the meeting/training will begin with a continental breakfast at 8:00 am followed by introductory remarks at 9:00 am and the subsequent program.
One of the training themes, tentatively, will be “Human Trafficking and Law Enforcement’s Role in Recognizing and Responding to It.” We are considering an additional theme concerning opioid abuse about which a decision will soon be made.
