Let me bring to your attention the last event flyer Scholars at College, the Director of this Non-Profit is our very own SCC NOBLE member Latasha Wells Amerson and each year she takes approx 30-40 children to a different locations affording them various experiences and exposure for a weekend. This year their weekend trip will be to UCLA. She has incorporated a section for COPs and Kids on Saturday, June 30, 2018, beginning at 0800 hours. This will be a breakfast and dialogue setting on the campus and she has requested those of us who can and have a heart to do so come out and speak to her group. Please advise if you can participate. Hope to see you there!
Don’t forget that we are a Co-Host for the Juneteenth Picnic this year! There will be great food, music and company this is the perfect recruitment setting. We will have a table and booth.
